Protests in Postwar Societies: Grievances and Contentious Collective Action in Kosovo

Abstract Most research on protests has been conducted in peaceful societies, whereas we know far less about contentious collective action postwar contexts. To fill this gap, offer a theory that perceived ethnic grievances related to group security and status are particularly likely generate protest mobilization societies. test alternative hypotheses, investigate trends behavior Kosovo using an original event dataset existing survey data.
